Stamina Gear for Rogue?

Postby Ginzburgh » Thu Jan 27, 2005 9:45 am

Hey Rogues out there,

I usually use my agi gear. I am level 45 and have 202 unbuffed agi. I also have a bag of stamina gear for certain occassions when I get hit more often than usual.

My question is...is it superfluous to use stamina gear considering AGI raises Armor, helps you dodge more often and also, determines the amount of times you crit?

When I put my stamina gear on I gain like 300ish hp but my agi drops from 202 to the 160's.

Should I just merchant sell my sta gear and concentrate on AGI?

If you don't have gear that is "of the monkey" then I wouldn't bother with is. Agi is our stat. I'm a big stamina whore though because I end up helping a lot of the lower levels tank in instances and stuff. As you get higher level you'll get more stuff with both +agi and +sta I think I'm at 280 and 220 right now. I'd worry about agi more than sta though, that's where you get your dps.

I'm merchant selling all my sta gear and freeing up some bag slots then.

Thanks again Taxx.

There CAN be exceptions. I was using atal'ai shoulders - which had an armor of 180 and 20 stamina.

Those were pretty much the best I could find for quite a while (180 armor is WAY higher than most leather shoulders).

Agree, there's gonna be a few things along the way that will be too hard to pass up.

Yeah and 20 sta = 200 extra hps. If you were using 75 ac 7 agi shoulder before that (just an example) it would make sense to go with the new ones...

My dad has a STA/AGI build, he's doing pretty well with it.

Yeah sta and agi is definitely the way to go, I just don't know if I should have a set of gear for each. But getting into higher levels there is gear that has both stats so I'll just go for that rather than using and abusing my bag space :P

For raids I use a stamina/resist gear build, same for duels.. For soloing or standard groups/smaller raids, crit rate all the way..

With crit gear my hp is around 2800 and unbuffed crit rate is around 30 percent, HP gear around 3800 and crit rate drops to 20ish percent
