Actually I knew my WoW had been disactivated that very day, so I didnt care. WoW dosent interest me enough to be on the edge of my seat for logging in. I was more interested in playing CS or my guitar.

We have a 35mbit fiber connection from our office. It's cheaper than paying for 4-bonded t1's and over 30x faster for 8k a month. We're only a 700 person company.

I can't brag much since fileplanet took the upgrade off their site but I did just download the Full patch, 230 MB, in 2 mins 35 seconds. Coming in a a sloooooow 1.48 MBps. Fileplanet caps their downloads as I can get 3.0-3.2 MBps after 7 pm from Microsoft or Oracle. Full cds in 3 minutes.
That's on my slooow laptop hard drive too!

You didn't download the file in 45 seconds. Hell - you'd be lucky to copy the file on local hard drives that quickly - let alone download it off the web.

Really? So when I copy a 230 mb file across the network which is slower than hard drive to hard drive in 4 seconds I must be defying the laws of gravity? /chuckle
