How do I have a nice build? It's a typical build for PVP.

Anyway, It depends on your goals. Are you a rogue leveling up? If so, go combat build.

Are you a PVP Rogue? If so, what level? If you're not high enough to get cold blood / prep (59), then go assassination first, and get cold blood.

Are your goals towards raiding? Again, what level are you? Leveling up, full combat with 5malice and 3 imp evis. If you're raiding at level 60, lots do 30/8/13 if you don't have the 5piece nightslayer bonus, which is 10 energy (31/8/12 if you had the 5piece ns, for vigor, which would allow you to ambush backstab with 120 energy instantly). The only problem with a 30/8/13 is that your damage comes from combo points and eviscerate. If you want consistant dps, and you're a dagger rogue, lots do the 15/20/16 build for maximizing raid dps. Gives you the benefits of Lethality, the bonuses of Dagger spec, and the additions from Ambush spec / opportunity etc.

Asking "What build should I use" Is like asking someone what kind of tires they want on their car, without knowing the car, or the intention.

Anyway, just a couple things to think about, let me know your goals and i'll try to come up with something a little more detailed and less ramble-like.

I wanted to see his build, I didn't want to know what I should use personally. I started an alt and I remember liking kezzes build so I wanted to look at it.

As for now I am leveling up so i will need a build for that, which will be different then what Kezz is specced now I am sure.

Combat owns for leveling up. Get a big ol' slow sword or mace, take the improved sinister strike talent, crit chance, riposte, blade flurry, adrenaline rush. rest you can pick and choose.

sinister strike is an instant attack so it gets all the attack power bonus from slow weapons as well as the fact you get to swing a 2.5 speed weapon or whatever instantly and then compound that with the talent to boost sinister strike damage and you have some pretty consistent heavy damage. Fast weapons never work, except *maybe* a blade flurry/improved slice and dice build and even that would be to just make yourself different. If all rogue specials were "on next attack" then speed wouldn't make any difference really.

or, just get a big slow bow, and spam shoot with it

rogues only have global cooldown to deal with, and not the innate weapon speed, nice bug!

haha yea, and ranged dodge checks are totally screwed up. My level 14 hunter had no problem hitting level 40 creatures.

I'm probably the only rogue stupid enough to go mostly Subtlety right off the bat, but hell, I like it... of course I carry about a ton of weapons at once and switch up simply for the sake of maintaining skills, but...

And yeah, ranged dps is >> melee dps if you're fighting higher level stuff that you can't land more than glancing blows for 1 or 2 damage on.
