I don't think increasing the levels so soon was a good idea at all.

I do however like the idea of the spellbreaker class, if that is not just a rumor I will be making one. I doubt its a rumor though seeing as Blizzard is showing the same screen shots that were shown in the leaked article about the spell breaker.

I just remember when I stopped playing, I had been level 70 about 4 months (got there about a month after the expansion that raised the level cap) and my main tradeskill was jewelcrafting.... :eyecrazy:

Hopefully it will work out like most of the other trades have in WoW. I always found them a lot more fun, not as much of that beat head on wall trying to get tradeskill stuff grind out products feeling. Could jc really be made fun? /ponder

Talents. If they raise it, are you getting 10 more talent points? I hope not. That would throw the balance of the talent trees out the window. There's a reason you can't get to tier 6 in two trees, and I for one think it should stay that way.

I think instead of level 70, they should do the hero classes they talked about

So you'd be llevel 60 normal class/level 10 hero class with it's own talent tree or some system like that.

Also an increase in level would bring back the EQ Kunark syndrome. Do you recall WHY there's a level cap on Naggy and Vox? do you remember the 6 wizard teams taking out Gorenaire? That's what happens when you raise the level cap in these games. Once stellar content becomes trivial. I've liked the pace that I've seen so far in WoW. They release new content that increases character strength without making older stuff trivial. Sure, MC would be easier after ZG then before (speaking third hand of course I've never been to either) but it's not to the point where you could 5 man MC. Level 70 may bring that about... who knows.

Jewelcraft could be made fun since they don't buttfuck you on failures, right?

I think its too early to increase the level cap. This is the first expansion I see no reason to raise the cap this early in the game, I think it will just fuck up the "old world" content this early on. That is what I hated about the level increase in EQ1, it fucked everything up, but at least they did it gradually.

I don't have faith in them to have enough level 70 content, thats why. That and itemization is already fucked. If we get level 70 and with that comes more powerful gear that means caster classes are going to need a revamp (hello EQ anyone?)

MC and BWL will become trivial. You know how Guk was actually hard before the expansions in EQ? Thats how it'll become.

Oh and I don't want the teehee cutesy asshats playing blood elves on the Horde. Thats the exact reason I chose horde, so I don't have to play with those jackasses.

But if it is better to get the gear for your guild, would you not do it? I doubt your whole guild will be level 70 as quickly as you.

My guild to me is my raid group, and yes they will be level 70 as fast as I will if not faster.

Most of us only have a few more pieces of loot we want at this point anyways.
