What do people use?

I currently have Cosmos, and for the most part, I really like it, but it's pretty enormous, and bloated, and with the IGE revelation, I'm kind of thinking I should get something else

ANyone have something that's cosmos-like?

I'm mostly interested in the sidebars, DPS thing, and some of the hunter pet mods

ps

I tried the Gypsy mod, and just really didn't dig it too much (sorry mondinga/cakaris)

I use Gypsy with a whole slew of addins. I didnt like the silly bird things on the side of Cosmos and didnt want them showing up when I scrolled over it if I turned it off.

I am using CT mod with a few addons. Works well for me. Has all in 1 inventory, auction addon to see what things have been selling for in auction, sell value anda few others.

Use the "best of breed". What most people don't realize is that you can take the pieces of Cosmos you like and leave the others behind.

Too much work. I downloaded a package and changed some things....well, had Gidan change them cause I would have blown the computer up if I tried to change something.

I prefer to start with a package and just edit it the way I like it by adding and removing addons rather then starting from scratch and just adding addons. Much easier IMO to edit then to start from nothing

Tikker - download Cosmos zips. Open the ZIP file and copy the QuestMinion directory to your Addons directory. Now you have QuestMinion installed with CTMod.

That would be handy. You mean party mates who have pets?

I used to use pieces of gypsy / tele's add ons / flexbar etc but recently we had a guild ui with a cluster of stuff we all use a lot created so I put that on.

It has

Health Text
Displays the percentage of your target's Health on the bar itself.

Gypsy Shell
The Gypsy Shell allows you to lock the bar in place once you've configured it. The background of each buff is colored based on the type it is. Blue = good, Red = bad. Simple.
*added the group unit part on mine also so I could see group member hps*

Quest Minion
Reveals quest levels and displays a summary of active quests.

Raid Bar
Allows you to share your health with other players in your raid.
(usage: /rb)

SelfCast
Allows you to use the ALT button when casting a spell to automatically cast it on yourself.
(usage: /selfcast)

Gatherer
Automatically adds a note on your mini-map / world-map when you mine, gather herbs, or loot a treasure chest so you can easily go back again.

Loot Link
Stores all items you've seen in a file on your PC so you can search / link them later.
(usage: /lootlink)

RelocateTooltip
Relocates your tooltip to your mouse cursor or to the top of the screen.
(usage: /tooltip)

FlexBar
Creates very customizable bars. Very complex mod, I suggest reading this:
http://therealorang.com/download/FlexBarHelp.htm

Item Buff
Displays current buffs cast on your weapons (ie. Poisons / Shaman buffs).

SimpleTip
Tooltip package that colors the background based on neutrality. Adds player guild names to the top as well.

CharacterProfiler
The tool needed to add update your characters on the roster.

Simple Mail
Automatically fills in the subject line with the name of the item you are sending.

Lockbar
Locks your bar, preventing you from dragging icons off of it.

Sea
An organized UI library, used in many mods.

Buff Timer
Adds a timer under your buffs at the top of your screen

WoWToc.exe
Run this and click "modify" to automatically bring all of your UIs up to date after a patch.

over in fluff we've been using http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=256.

it requires that the pet owner have it as well, but it works out well for our hunters and locks.

Mostly mine are for UI adjustments, like having some extra buttons and being able to move things around easier on my screen. I don't have scripts running to heal / buff /cure etc. like others. I do have things to show hps/ buff timers but think those are needed and should've been put in anyhow.
