My friend has a WoW account for me...

to try out for a month to see if I will like it. I just got back into raiding in EQ so have very little ambition to want to change games, but in order to make him happy I figure I can play a couple days a month or so or on the nights when I don't have enough time for a raid (most nights lately). I played WoW in beta and liked it then, but all my friends wanted to play EQ2. I dropped money on that and then of course they all decide they want to play WoW instead. Forget that. I can't spend that much money in a year on new games.

So back to the origonal topic. My friend has an extra account he wants me to use (hes even prepaid). Is there anyway to download the software so we don't have to ship the cd's back and forth?

Need to download the full client. If I download the beta client from Fileplanet (still available apparently) will a patcher bring me up to live?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

if you can get the beta client then yes it should update to live
