He's not too hard, we'll have him down in about 2 weeks i'm guessing. 62% on our first night fighting him.

Got him to 32% 2 nights ago. It's all about dealing with the Sons when they show up, assuming you don't have the DPS to drop rag in 3 min before they ever arrive. We'll get him soon though.

at this point we're fine on sons, we're getting them down with zero deaths and healers not losing mana, but our problems happen after that when the lava splashes come

it's really a stupid fight when your outcome depends on how lucky you get with the splashes

gonna be fun when they fix the fight so splashes happen throughout the whole thing rather than the 2nd part... if they do that and add the sons spawning when you get rag down to a certain % rather than timed, i think it would actually be a pretty fun finesse fight rather than a shitty luck based dps zerg

We give everyone greater fire prot potions, AE the sons, beat down Rag.
Farm tubers and anything else that heals - get greater health stones from warlocks, etc etc.

Pretty simple really.

I'm the troll rogue towards the right with the blue glow (Kezz).

My gear is basically AP driven at this point since i'm hoarding DKP for Perditions Blade/Corehound tooth kinda subpar compared to others we raid with even though i have 100% attendance. I'm #1 rogue DKP so these assholes just have to drop it the correct loot. I figure our dps is most important so i'll worry about gear later and get weapons now.

Heh, wish we got that much rogue loot (though I _did_ score a Perdition's today).

I think the last six Golemagg kills have dropped hunter tunics, we seem to get more hunter loot than any other type, and I mean LOTS more.

Fucking RNG.

It's in Dustwallow, and yes, there is.

Rag is pretty fun, actually. We've gotten him 3 times now, will get him #4 today. I think the most common armor for us si actually a toss-up between Felheart and Cenarion. Rogue armor has been insanely rare. Paladin armor has been about average, overall. I am enjoying the hell out of the Finkle's Lava Dredger I got from the Domo fight, tho.

Yeah he's on the west side of dustwallow marsh. They gave Mud a quest to give out that fits him quite well. (It's doable by both sides).

yeah we get a ton of felheart and cenarion too, at the point now where all of it is getting DEed =/

have had the lock helm drop off ony five times in a row, and the last time we did her we gave away bloodfang hood to a recruit rogue because all of our rogues had it already :~(

surprisingly hunter set stuff is our rarest drops... the only set piece i have is DS legs from rag, yet we've gotten so many blastershots that we have two rogues with it already

really wish they'd put in armor quest stuff like the velious faction quest armor, shame to see so much time spent just to see stuff DEed

Our most common stuff is by far Warrior armor. We have no warriors with positive DKP...in contrast we have 5 of the top 10 spots filled by rogues...so that should tell you something. Well that and a lot of the class armor was absolute shit.

We actually got Bloodfang pants off Rag today. We're still getting completely boned by weapon and epic drops, though. No weapons at all off rag in 4 kills, no epic parts from Majordomo in 8 (and they're supposed to be a 50% drop rate)

Today was actually our best Rag ever. Normally we make a couple dry runs with no potion use, to make sure everyone is with it, can still execute the strat properly, etc. Then we do the real run, with lung juice, fire resists, etc. and drop him fast. Today, we were doing the 2nd dry run, and crushed him with no potion use at all. Was most excellent.

Taxx, do you guys get Paladin armor drops, or does it know which side you are when it makes the loot tables?

It knows which faction you are Donnel, we only get shaman drops and alliance only gets paladin.

And once again Lucifron-Golemagg only nightstalker helm drops...no thx, pass.

We always kill him on the 2nd run, except for our first kill (was 4th try that night).

Yah I ran up on him last night.

Seriously how the hell do you get a mob named after you in Everquest from an arch rival of SOE?

Is Mudcrush a name in fantasy lore somewheres?
Tossica: No, you're gay because you suck on cocks.
