im liking it so far

since i am neither a fanboi of soe or blizzard and now playing both i can honestly say i like WOW a bit more in certain areas over EQ2

my biggest problem so far is how absurdly easy it is.. the only time i have died so far was in group situations against elite mobs
the pluses for wow are content and how everyone looks different as far as armor. eq2 owns wow as far as graphics.. on a high end system it blows me away how amazing eq2 looks, its just gorgeous.. the problem is overwhelming sameness.. a guardian looks the same at level 20 as he does at level 50.. all the armor is identical in graphics same is true for my warlock
i collect robes, i did it in eq1 and im starting to do it in wow. my eq2 robes are all identical with the exception of 2. all the others have the same graphic with just colour changes. this is probably why so many people have left eq2 all the drab sameness from level to level and class to class

hopefully dof fixes some of this problem.

things that i thought suck about WoW

itemization - there's too fucking much gear. it's nice to have choice, but there was just so much stuff, that there was really no sense of satisfaction in getting a particular item

Dungeons - most of them were awesome .......the 1st 2 or 3 times. after that they're worse than farming shards for VT

Absolutely no skill required to play WoW. you can be fucking clueless, and still be reasonably competent (you can tell a good player from a poor player, but the difference is fairly small)

the more uber the item, the more retarded the graphic

all in all, I had fun getting to 60, but then the fun stopped almost immediately
