I didn't post the ones from last week but basically we found out we are having a boy! At the ultrasound tho, they found something echogenic (technical garble) that they sent me off to a perinatologist for a Level 2 ultrasound but told me I might get lucky and have a 3d one for free also.

Today I got in for the specialist and baby is a-ok..jus a small scare for nothing! perfectly healthy and measuring exactly 19 weeks 3 days. It's amazing the details of the Level 2 and 3d vs. the regular doctors office one. She showed me the heart's 4 chambers and the ventricles opening and closing then showed me in color the blood flow through the umbilical cord, different parts of the brain etc. etc.

Patrick had to miss today's sadly :( :( :( because he left me sat. to head to Oregon for his new job while we sell this house. He was there last week to find out the sex though at least. We are building a new one up there that's supposed to finish up in March (11 days before i'm due YIKES)

Anyhow, here's our flasher from last week~

and a few, not all from today
3d!! - he turned uncooperative and pretzel knotted at the end!

Congrats! I'm wishing our next is a boy.

Youre lucky to know the sex this far ahead. Mine was shy until a week before the csection. Then we caught her off guard.

Congrats again :)

Oh my gosh Sav. The US pics are amazing. So exciting! Tell Pat grats on new job! Didn't you just finish building that house!!!!!!! YIKES! I can't believe you have to start the process over again. Such cool changes though. So glad the baby is healthy and ok. New house and new baby at the same time - WOW! Still - what a great fresh start! Please keep the updates going. I love hearing how you guys are doing.

We are nuts I tell ya, completely totally out of our minds. I swear we do too many things at once. You're right about this house, we just moved in last Sept. after building this one LOL and if you remember right, I was planning our wedding during that plus oh working full time and going to school at night. It was too much really but it seems we tend to do things chaotic like that. After moving in Sept. we held the huge both family Turkey weekend thing at our new house, then at Xmas we found out I was prego, miscarried in late January, left my job in March due to the shit they pulled about my miscarriage and started working for the State in April.

That brings us to oh July 4th weekend when we just happened to look at houses in the Newberg, Oregon area (wine country) and found the perfect family house. We put in for the house, hoping we'd get the lot (there were only 2 lots with the model we wanted). I told Patrick I was pregnant on our 1 yr. anniversary (had to keep secret all week lol) !!! We also found out that same weekend we got the house. Luckily Patrick found a job to transfer to within GE and his interviews all went well etc. so he started this week. I was dreading giving up his benefits/insurance...it's too good to be true really plus we were in a pickle to find jobs b4 the house finishes. Anyhow, the new house isn't supposed to close until March 20th...about 11 days before i'm due. GO FIGURE!!

I hate hate hate being stuck here w/o him but it'll work out much better in the end. We are going to be actually close to some of my family finally and his parents are really close. His parents are going crazy over this baby (it's the first grandchild for both of our families).

here's the gallery with pics of the house - model that is.

Got your PM and then came here to read the update. Oh my gosh! The model house is gorgeous. Those views..the molding... the hardwood floor..... I am GREEN WITH ENVY! That would be a dream come true. You are so so lucky!! It all sounds very exciting. Some people work better hectic! I like staying busy too. I remember you talking about the miscarriage but don't remember hearing that you ended up having to deal with the job too. Ugh.. Well I guess things happen for a reason. So cliche but true. Make sure you go out and buy one of those really cool jogging strollers to run around with the baby and dog in the wine country. That will get you back into shape fast with all those hills... dear lord. You should also plant some of your own grapes in your backyard!

How did you manage to keep the baby a secret a week?! I have such a big mouth.. no way in hell I could do that with Dana. He must have totally flipped out! What a great anniversary present.

Dana.. I want a house and baby in wine country.. lets go.. chop chop :boots: :balloons:
