KIZZY

I watched the news tonight and there was a story about how women who have migraines have higher chances of stroke. Women who have light sensitive migraines are even higher and women who have light sensative migraines who take the pill are even HIGHER. (I assumed you were on the pill :dunno: ) Thought I would pass this tidbit of info on.

I am on the shot. I asked the doctor about the bleeding, he said the shot should clear it up and go back to no bleeding at all. I asked about the migraines, and he told me to start keeping a daily journal.

Either that or you could be the unlucky 1 in 20 that bleed like there is no tomorrow on the shot :(

Ok, just looking out for you. Dont want any strokes around here, unless the good kind :boots:

It has to be stress related because it just started this past month.

I have not gotten mine since ermm um.. Thanksgiving and no not preggers. I went off the pill and my system is totally f'ed up. Its nice to not have it but its also a little scary. I've been really irregular for the last 6 years or so. One year I didn't get it at all and the next I was getting it every couple weeks for a few months and in pain along with bad headaches.. thx uterine fibroid size of grapefruit or 16 wk pregnancy. Had a myomectomy (abdominal surgery to remove the grapefruit) and was fine after with the pain. Went on the pill and got regular but then just before our wedding in like August I went off again. Hopefully when my weight stabilizes this will go back to normal. Gotta get to the GYN soon.

My doctor told me the deal with Depo isn't that it makes you gain weight, but rather, since it's essentially a steroid, it makes you feel good and some people eat when they feel good.

That makes sense, Azlana. I have gained back all the weight I lost after the divorce. :(
