it's that advocare protein supplement (50g in the recommended 3 scoops) but it tastes like ass. It's vanilla flavored :ugh: Any ideas on how to make it "ok"? I didn't realize it was flavored earlier and mixed it with all kind of fruit and blended it. . .oh that was bad. I choked it down, but it was bad.

And is this even a decent supplement? :dunno:

ya buy new protien=P

A couple facts about protien, Most protien comes from the same facility in bakersfield CA ( 90 %) most of those protiens are the same - twin labs and gnc = exactly the same

Nitrotech is probally one of the best, and I hate to say it but parillo too

I wold try and add either cocoa powder, banana, peanut butter, or splenda to it

Should I go with protein or creatine? Honestly, strength is not really what I'm going for. If it happens, great, but my first concern is the cosmetic aspect. And, if you choose creatine, what brand is good?

I drink Herbalife protein shakes in the morning. They are pretty yummy and I get the powder for free :boots:

If you want to use creatine, try Cell-Tech. Just to warn you, when you stop exercising, it will turn into fat fast. It is basically water weight.

I have started to lift weights again, starting off low (135 bench)

I'm still looking for more weights so I can start squats...because squatting 135lbs is worthless IMO

But I am trying to get more protein in my system and I think, eggs and fish are working out well enough (uninformed opinion) I don't believe in supplements personally, but then again that's probably subconscious because I am poor.

You should only only eat 4 eggs a week btw. Try to intake lots of carbs before you lift to get energy, and eat protein afterwards so it can repair your muslces quicker.

try front squats, they are harder to do more weight

Egg whites and tuna are the two cheapest and two high grade quality protiens

What's the best way to prep the eggs? I'm assuming that frying them would be bad :dunno:
