Fox News = LOL

Occassionally I'll watch Fox News. Tonight I happened to watch O'Reilly (sp) and a couple of other "talk" shows. It just cemented, in my mind, how close minded conservatives really are.

Case in point: O'Reilly... he'd have liberal / democrats come on his show to offer counter point opinions about what ever topic he is discussing... however... he wouldn't shut the fuck up for more than 10 seconds to let the guest actually SAY anything. He'd constantly cut them off with some half assed rant. THEN, when he'd have a conservative guest - he'd let them have the floor for as long as they wanted, pratically. LOL.

Same with all the other shows...

Now, I DO watch Bill Maher all the time. He's the complete opposite of O'Reilly and co. He actually lets his guests say what the fuck they're trying to say without cutting them off.

Noticed the same thing with CNN. Most of the CNN hosts are polite enough to shut the fuck up while their guests are talking and trying to make a point - regardless of what side of the fense said guest resides.

I'm thinking the hosts of the various shows on Fox need to shut the fuck up once and while and actually LISTEN to what their guests have to say.

Nah. He is actually a really smart guy.... not as smart as say John Stewart or Al Franken but he is smart.

I was watching Fox News tonight too, and it just reinforced how much I love Bill O'Reilly (who's an independent btw) and Sean Hannity.

O'Reilly usually gives equal time, unless he's in a foul mood. He does sometimes have a habit of interrupting guests, but most of the time he's pretty fair.

Hannity is merely a right wing attack dog. His tactics of bringing up past quotes or irrelevant facts to try and hijack the conversation leads to entertainment, but piss poor debate. The fact Fox has Colmes on, versus keeping a stronger Democratic personality on that show hurts their trying to be 'fair and balanced'.

On the flip side, it's always good when CNN has a discussion about 'important senate events' and discusses it with three (D) Senators and no GOP people, like they did on Monday.

The worst I have seen when it comes to interrupting guests is Chris Matthews.
