"Yeah thats it. Everyone can be a CEO! We can all make 10 million a year, we just dont want to. Right."

Yeah pretty much that’s what I'm saying. If you want it bad enough and you are willing to do what it takes you can be a CEO and or do something else to make your 10 million per year.

You just need to ask your self, how hard am I willing to work and what am I willing to sacrifice to get there?

The thing is that 99.9% of the population are lazy dick holes who wont put down the bag of chips and get off the couch to change the TV channel let alone do what it takes to bring home 10mil a year. I imagine you rank somewhere around the lazy dick hole who sits on the couch and whines about how other people are keeping you from making your millions.

'Amateurs talk about strategy, professionals talk about logistics.'

It doesn't matter how much you want, or how hard you're willing to work for, a prestigious position, there are already more then enough qualified candidates available to fill all the CEO slots around. It's going to take more than a strategy of hard work to wedge yourself into an already overfull pool of hopefuls, you're going to have to overcome a severely unfriendly logistical situation.

Keep making excuses as to why you're not succeeding buddy.

I'm laughing all the way to the bank.

I'm by no means making 10 mil a year but at the rate I'm going I'll break the one mil a year mark in about 18 months. From there, who knows? The sky’s the limit.

I'm the CEO of my own business and you better believe that I’m worth AT LEAST 10mil a year. If you’re not worth that much money, then shut up and get out of the way of the people who are.

I'm not doing jack crap to make myself rich right now, but I do know Goose has the right idea.

If you really want to be a CEO, start your own company. Being rich is all about creating wealth.

More commonly, it's all about exploiting those who do. The people who actually create wealth are rarely rewarded in kind.

Wealth's physical manifestation is material goods, but their source is an IDEA, and that is the true creator of wealth.

It takes guts to make your ideas reality, guts that most people don't have.

Do you truly believe that Toyota's CEO has the IDEAs that make the company viable? That it's the bureaucrat's innovation that leads to technological breakthroughs?

Your definition of the creation of wealth is woefully shortsighted as well: witness the agricultural industry.

Toyota's CEO deserves every penny of his salary. Toyota developed the "just in time" assembly line production model which is now being emulated by many other auto manufacturers.

Which was obviously an innovation from the top! Actual engineers never have any ideas relevant to the concepts of improving production, they all came from guys in suits... just ask the suits!

Maybe, but what keeps the engineer from taking his idea and creating a new company to implement it? Or approaching established companies as a consultant and having his idea implemented with a greater return on his idea?

Lack of balls. As a manager, I don't do much to "create" ideas, but I sure as hell implement them. I get paid to put my name on someone elses idea with the understanding that if shit goes wrong my nuts in the sling.
