Ellen White never said that Donnel. It was an IRS Guy named Matthew. You are confusing the point with Mindia. Besides, you used complex sentences in those quotes. you need to break them down for Mindia.

If it was not stated by Ellen White it must not be in the bible. There is the King James Version, the New Revised Standard Version, The Revised Standard Version, and the SDA Standard Edition....The SDA Standard Edition looks like this....

In this chapter we talk about the Ten Commandments....

All of a sudden I'm reminded of that scene in History of the World where Moses drops the five extra commandments.

lol what a bunch of dipshits. Nice way to stay off topic. Jesus is the Light of the World.

Hence...

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Oh were you looking for the owned emoticon? Here it is:

:owned:

Now, would you like to stay on topic and discuss the Betheny adoption agency, or would you like me to be sympathetic to your ADD condition, and play along with you on your wild non-sequitor tangents?

The way Mindia manages to completely ignore entire passages of the Bible, even when they're quoted directly at him never ceases to amuse me. It's like plugging coins into an old marionette machine: dance puppet, dance!

no donnel, Ellen White probably has not approved the book of Matthew and since she was not there she cant confirm or denythe sermon actually took place.

They are not mutually exclusive, though you seem to think they are by claiming that you are not the "light of the world."

If you actually studied scripture and kept in tune with what the generally accepted viewpoint is on this matter you would understand that Jesus Christ is considered to be "The Light of the World," not His followers. Followers of Jesus are the "Salt of the earth" so you were partially correct, although you didn't mention anything about it... you just happened to have captured that part of the quote.

Got any other gems for us? Come on, I'm bored at work.

You're basically admitting that you let other people think for you Mindia.

Ack! Jesus lied when he told his disciples in Matthew 5 "You are the light of the world?"

Wow, here I thought a direct quoite, of a direct statement, directed at a particular group of people would be pretty hard to misjudge. It's called context, Mindia. Learn it, use it.

Don't claim to think you know about how much I've studied the scripture.

I forgot you are the definitive on scripture. Yeah 1 year reading the bible and you think you have the nail down on this scripture that people have studied all thier lives and still do not know everything about it.

Thats like the Jewish population redoing the Torah in a color by numbers book.

Wow, I can see after all my silly arguments that I really aren't very compassionate nor objective and I certainly do not have any shred of truth seeking in me.

These are faults I will attempt to rectify as well as my bigoted narrow minded viewpoint that castigates many but does not offer compassion to any.

I'm sorry guys! I'll work to be a better person, and less of a shit!
