tell you what everyone agree that ID wont be taut if they take the fraudulent evidence of evolution ouf of the textbooks

you know the ones

human embryos have gills (they dont)
the horse evolution chain (goes from 15 ribs to 14 to 16 back to 14 etc)
lucy and other "missing links" that have been proven false
the recent chinese dinosaur fraud Archaeoraptor Liaoningensis
the geological column (that exists nowhere but textbooks)
heck the spotted moth one is STILL in textbooks too

etc etc etc

why the hell can't people just say "here are 2 or 3 o4 views that are popularly held... here is how scientifically supported they are, let's discuss these and what makes them scientific or non-scientific....

and is the fact that something is non-scientific make it more valuable than something that isn't.....

But OH WAIT that would involve more than teaching straight science or math or reading... but going beyond that to THINKING....

no one has to fear a cetian teaching if it is shown to everyone what makes the belief what it is, whether it is experimentation or faith or a mix of both, which is what the vast majority of science is.

we learned something like Intelligent Design in philosophy(just basic survey course), they called it an Argument from Design. And i've seen some of the people that flog I.D. as teh truth use the very same argument. but then the next chapter showed how regoddamtarded it is. i don't think those guys read that far :dunno:

edit - anyway, it belongs in a philosophy class, and as far away from biology/science as possible
