OR could it be that your anti-gun and pro-immigrant left leaning major media just cherry pick stories as they have a bias agenda and limited resources they can hide behind??

The same story is told on various blogs and forums, it's pretty much the same info with some different wording at best. This particular one states the city where this occurred is Butte MT:

I checked The Montana Standards website (local paper):

http://www.mtstandard.com/

There is no mention of this story. There is also no listing in the obituaries of the two men that were supposedly killed. This isn't the sort of story the local paper just doesn't report.

The OP article is even so vague as to not list a city something usually included in most news stories (you know who, what, when, where, and why).

I also couldn't find any thing anywhere on a Patricia Harrington and clay shooting competitions... if she's a champion I'd think there'd be a record somewhere of it.

In short I'm not taking issue with the story because of it's potential for use as an example backing political views. I question it's validity simply because it reeks of a bullshit feel good story that someone made up with little to no real world events as a basis.

Next time I talk to a client in Missoula though, I'll ask them if they've heard anything.

Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

That would make sense, one of the posts I ran across when I got suspicious someone was talking about Colorado laws regarding the incident... which didn't quite makes sense with it supposedly happening in Montana.
