the religious right will dismiss it out of hand again, but seems they're finding more and more evidence of birds evolving from certain dinosaur branches

I don't have anything to specific to add to this story, but I wanted to post that on Thursday I saw "Walking with Dinosaurs" at the Verizon center and at the end the Narrator mentions that although the dinosaurs are extinct if you look at modern birds you'll see what raptors have evolved into. The show itself was awesome. The dinosaurs they have are huge, the little ones you can see the legs of the people inside of them, but not in a cheesy way, it was really well done. The bigger ones and I mean HUGE are on these like moving pedestal things. Really if this comes to your area and you have kids that are at all interested in dinosaurs take them. Of course the T-Rex was saved for last and the kids in the arena went bat-shit insane when it came out. Also the guy who narrates does this paleontologist thing and surprisingly the kids I was with and the kids in the arena were really into it.

That show was just at Ohio State's Schottenstein Center... I didn't go and see it, but yeah, I've heard great things about it.

A feather is just like one gene away from a scale or something like that. I should have paid closer attention in school.

Dinosaurs with feathers...

If they had grease and batter back then then its proof that there were black cavemen too.

If the dinosaurs still had feathers on them even after they were fried, it's proof that there were Asian cavemen too.

I just had the dinosaur Ciabatta sandwich from Wendy's tonight for dinner. It was pretty good.

There definately weren't asian cavemen. Cavemen are hairy.
