Not surprised to see San Jose on the list. This hit isn't like the one when the first internet tech bubble imploded. THAT one crushed Silicon Valley, and for a long time. This time, looks like the area may slow down a little, but tech is nearly as strong as it's ever been in most cases, so it should hold up OK.
Also, there was much less of the massive over-building of housing here, if for no other reason than there was no ROOM to build them, as everyplace around the bay that could be built in already WAS built in, just about, and as a result we don't have anywhere near the oversupply problem that SoCal has these days, where some spots are seeing home values fall by 40%+.
