I agree :(
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

Indeed, very sad. :(

For a moderately complete mini-biography, check here: http://www.mercurynews.com/ci_10576366?nclick_check=1

I actually hadn't known he was in the Navy in WW2. Nor that the Newman's Own company he and his neighbor started had already given away 175 million to charity. Definitely impressive.

I think I shall need to find a copy of Butch Cassidy or The Sting to watch today...

Definitely The Sting. I can watch that movie over and over and it never fails to entertain.

    Very sad indeed.

He's one of my all time favorites. I'll probably spend the day watching some of his best stuff.

I See you found the thread. Very speedy on your delete of the one you started in ET. ;)

BTW, Entertainment Weekly has a list of what they claim to be his 30 best: http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,2020580 ... est+movies
