He was democratically elected to the white house. Due to this, I support him as our President, and voice my opposition to things he proposes which I do not agree with in a positive manner

But he wasn't competing against his predecessor, he was competing against Gore and Kerry. I wouldn't exactly call them the masters of charisma and bullshit

I know Martrae pointed it our, but just for emphasis: the U.S. is not a democracy. We never have been, hopefully never will be.
