believe it or not, i like discussing things with you. not only because we agree on more than you think, but because discussing the things on which we disagree helps us test not only each other's convictions, but also our own - and the fact that neither of us really ever budge should not be taken as proof against that. absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, to paraphrase mr. rumsfeld.

as for the conduct in this thread, i'm going to leave most of it be - scabs don't heal if you pick 'em, especially fresh ones. the only thing i wanted to point out is that it's pretty chickenshit to edit your own flames AFTER your target has seen them but BEFORE anyone else has. bad form, hook. you forfeited your chance to play the victim with that little stunt.


all that being said, it should surprise no one that a 21st century president(ial candidate) capitalises on conflict to score cheap points against his opponent, but that doesn't mean romney isn't a piece of shit.
