Zanchief where do you live? Toronto?
well I don't know where, but all big cities have racial diversity. You were speaking canadian but I heard "we have em too, I have to deal with em too, but we're not racists like you americans down there"
whatever we're all bigots. right? some more than others, but are they worse because they're that much more of a bigot, or are they just ignorant?
ever since I can remember, in my neighborhood, school, friends, college, church, sides of the street to stand on waiting for the bus stop, work, blacks and whites have separated themselves.
I don't believe in denying rights to a human being based on their race.
What I do believe is that people feel comfortable in certain situations-among what's familiar, people go together in many ways, and it's natural to want to be with your kind (for like of a better word atm) Within our own races we branch off even more...it's alright with me that people are different, in any way.
..we are not the same kind of people, we are very different. there's nothing wrong with that, it's a fact!! In my mind, if we all stopped trying to please and/or offending each other because of our differences, that'd be a miracle! we're not all going to do that. that would be peace.
why are we trying to make so many different people happy, when it takes so many different things to do that? Black people and white people do not have to do the same shit in order to co-exist. Blacks and Whites have their own individual histories, traditions, ways of living, speaking, music, bone structure, dressing, channels on tv, business listings, everything is separate because it's probably meant to be to begin with.
I don't think blacks and whites can live together and expect everyone to treat each other the same. That's why we have these bullshit problems. Let's just live our own lives where we want them and how..separate if that's necessary. Why is that so wrong? If I were black, I probably wouldn't hang out with white people regularly. I'd know some, they'd be "around", work with some...but my life history and family is with black people. White people don't mean shit to me except that they're another person.
seems to me as though we're forcing something that doesn't work for natural reasons and we are all making each other miserable but we really don't mean to be doing it. that's why I think we're all bigots. Deny rights to noone (true freedom) and live how you want with whomever. No matter what race/religion etc.
but then you have those ignorant bastards that hail white supremacy no matter what...again...ignorance. That kind of racism, KKK, Nazi Germany, we don't know what that is like. living separate is one thing-being attacked and killed (among much, much more)because of who you were born as, that is something none of us will probably ever know. that is the real racial issue.
