Yep. Plus people on here like to argue and point out bullshit information in order to seem more intelligent.

I don't think this is an issue at all. Part of the problem here in the US is that we don't have regulation on the right things and so many things technologically antiquated.

It's time for something like this.

People are just too damn paranoid these days.

The sad part is I have a GED and you're still a fucking moron.

That's enough material for another thread entirely, though it's been discussed in great detail here.

Public schools are complete and utter garbage.

You can't help it when harrison is involved. its the lvl of conversation he understands. you try and talk intellegently and he dont get it so he attacks grammar or whatever else is on his level. in truth its the only way he can be on equal terms with everyone. Have you ever seen him hold a civilized discussion where he has an opposing viewpoint with out attempting to turn it into a grammar lesson or making some sort of pathetic personal attack?

You are correct thou run. if that weak ass crap is all he has to offer then he isnt worth responding to.

Better quit voting Democrat then, since that is their entire platform. Socialized Medicine, Socialized schools, higher taxes, Over regulation, etc

Anyways, we are going off tangent here, and I don't see much truth about these changes being presented, just a lot of 'what ifs'.

yea lyion I agree. its like the parties are swapping stances. i just wish the libratarians could put up a viable 2nd choise.

problem is both the democrats and the republicans are as fucked up as football bats right now.

Your have liberals that keep wanting to change everything around so that the government does everything from wipe your ass to spoon feed you solient green.

On the other hand most repbulicans are basically donkeys in elephants clothing and reduction in governemnet is nothing more than a banner they wave with one hand while increasing the size of it in the back ground.

An easy way to fix the current situation? shit can every damn politician from president on down. Place the senate under the votes of the state legislature where it belongs, personally take out back and beat any politician with more then 5 years in politics. It seems if you spend more than 3 years in a legislation chamber you become deaf to the needs of your contituents.

as for this national ID system, Ganzo please understand, those of you that have not been in the military cant understand the speed with which the government can fuck something up. Remember the fuckup with the social security numbers and personal information that came up missing at the Veterans Administration? that was only about 200,000 people. Think of what these morons can do if they had half a billion. Yeah my distrust for the governement is fairly obvious on this point.

More realistically speaking, I've always thought it would do wonders for all major elected political offices (particularly congress/president) to have a strict term 1 term limit. It seems like a lot of the bullshit these people push is part of their 'need' for re-election rather than something more deeply devious (usually in the form of campaign funds from special interests, towing the party line so they get support next election, or catering to various culture factions like evangelicals for their chunk of the vote).

These people might be more inclined to actually do their job if they didn't have re-election plans to think about.
