Troops cleared of charges

Postby Narrock » Fri Jun 02, 2006 6:50 pm

Finally, some good news:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. military probe has found U.S. forces did nothing wrong in a March raid in the town of Ishaqi in which civilians were killed, saying they "properly followed the rules of engagement," the military said on Friday. "Allegations that the troops executed a family living in this safe house, and then hid the alleged crimes by directing an air strike, are absolutely false," Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a senior U.S. military spokesman in Iraq, said in a statement released in Baghdad.

Yeah, but at Haditha, the marines are guilty of slaughtering some 20-odd people, and there's no justification for it. Not only did they kill them, they covered it up as well. Murder idnictments are coming, and experts are saying it's going to have as big or bigger impact on world opinion than Abu Gharib.

That's gonna suck big time. If they truly are guilty, and this can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, then I hope they get spanked HARD. I'm talking 30+ years in prison with no possibility of parole.

I say fuck those people. Most of them inadvertently support terrorism and insurgency. So what if a few get mowed down?

I think the equation to controlling the muslim population is quite simple:

pain + suffering = respect and obediance.

If you look at their entire culture this is true. I think we should bomb a random building a day until the insurgency and IED bullshit stops. Personally I would start with an elementary school.

What would happen if somebody placed C4, or some other explosive devices, all around the most holy place for Muslims, called the "Dome of the Rock" in Jerusalem, and blew it to smithereens? What would be the after-effect of an event like that?

doesn't matter

they'd jihad israel

this would then of course drag the US in

which would then drag in other muslim countries that want a shot at the US

this would then probably also give china the balls to try and do something

US would have to of course retaliate, and this would bring korea and possibly even Russia into the mix

ie, world war 3

Brinstar has inspired me to ask "what if" questions because they are so very relevant.

Actually it very much does matter if they had proof or not.

1. They might declare a jihad on israel, this would allow for U.S. intervention.

2. If other middle-eastern countries also jump into the fray without any proof that israel did do this they would be considered hostile and would be helping the enemy.

3. Russia, Britain, Australia, and Japan would most likely immediatly side with the U.S. and they would also have U.N. backing.

4. China wouldn't do a damn thing unless this would affect their oil supply's etc and most likely they would side with the U.S.

5. North korea is so isolated it wouldn't really care to much except maybe black market wise.

6. Considering that most of the world would be against the middle-eastern countries, those countries would quickly be subdued. I think faster then iraqi freedom also since we would have major international help.

Cool, so who's gonna light the fuse? I'd love to see the Dome of the Rock obliterated. :hiphop: :M16:

Isn't that just like a meteor or something? I remember watching a history channel show on it.

The "rock" inside the "Dome of the Rock" is supposedly the same rock where Muhammad climbed the golden ladder into heaven on (), and also the same rock where Abraham was about to sacrifice his son Isaac on, but an angel of the Lord stopped him. Christians and Jews are not allowed to pray inside the Dome of the Rock... only Muslims can.

They've already tried to combine their forces and destroy Israel. Google and read about the 7 day war if you're interested.

Despite having more people, similar technology, and 3 much larger countries attacking, they were completely waxed. If you're curious why, go read Thons signature, which he thinks is cute, but makes anyone who has a real clue and some education smile.

The Arabs don't do anything to the Jews because they get it back tenfold. If we had the balls to take this approach in Iraq, the country would be completely calm now. All they can do is faux pretend and send women and children to die. Which to me is the ultimate sign of cowardice, but it's the modus operandi there.

Right. So why not just obliterate the dome of the rock and be done with it forever? Then the Muslims might pack up their camels and wicker baskets and GTFO of Israel for good.

I'm all for destroying holy muslim shrines/artifacts/moscques. They take an eye, we take two and soon enough they are all blind wandering around begging for a spare dinar while we pump all their oil to power our Ford Excursions.
