Attack on US embassy foiled.

Today a group of armed attackers apparently tried to storm the American embassy in Damascus with hand grenades and machine guns after detonating a car bomb near the compound walls. Syrian security forces killed four attackers and and dismantled another car rigged with explosives, including some bombs made with propane gas tanks.
