I watched this the other day and enjoyed some of it just for the sake of getting out ideas that people hardly ever talk about, such as the relation between temp and CO2, solar activity, and past climate changes that contradict 'mainstream' (read: extremist) global warming flamethrowers.
I was however disappointed in how far they went to debunk extremist global warming theory, so much so that it can look to completely neutral observers (or to global warming fanatics) to be just another propaganda piece, much like they contend mainstream global warming theory has become. I wish it was more balanced in that it brought in some ideas that are correct from mainstream theory, (i.e., the non-apocryphal non-sensationalist science part), and blended it into the data with the Medieval warm period, Little Ice Age, post-WWII industrial contradiction cooling, and solar activity, for a more complete picture of the totality of climate change.
For example, Prof. Wunsch has already come out publicly that he was 'swindled' and taken out of context in the film. And although he is just one of the many noteworthy MIT, Princeton, IPCC, etc scientists, it will allow the extremist global warming crowd to label this nothing but rhetoric, which is unfortunate, because this film contains much more scientific fact than "An Inconvenient Truth", and didn't need to go overboard.
