I listened to it on NPR. It's definitely an interesting time for campaigning. someone else said that..but I wasn't interested in politics at the time. I see it now.

Who were the debaters?
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

John Edwards was asked who he looked to for moral guidance.
he didn't answer for about ten seconds. Then, he said that he wasn't sure there was one person. He named the Lord, his wife, and his mother and father as being his gauge for morality.

I hated the question but I loved the answer.

Clinton spoke well, very strong..

Obama wants to sound like Edwards and kick Clinton's ass.

There was discussion about Iraq and being there, and Iran and invasion there for oil..at least twice I heard someone say war is necessary.

they asked Obama what he was doing *individually* about the environment and he said that they "just planted 3000 trees."

(I do not know who was reading the questions-sorry) that person..said "I was talking more along the lines of light bulbs" and I immediately thought of Mindia. The room bursted out with laughter...and that is when Obama answered with something really desperate...and said he was teaching his daughters (gave their names) about using energy efficient light bulbs.

I loved the question-hated the answer.

The election is November in 2008....The first primary is a long ways away. Seems very early to be having debates.

I watched it. Biden had the best answers, but a lot of what they were saying was somewhat identical. Hillary is a cold one. She seemed to be playing the debate like Poker.

I did get a chuckle out of Edwards sitting their forever trying to figure out who is moral authority was.

Kucinich and Gravel are :crackhead:

Just goes to show you how important it is for the House to approve funding for better gear/weaponry for our troops.

I need to make time to watch that later. I like to see candidates in action.
