Blatently copied from another website I read....

These are all from tax payer supported sex-ed courses. Maybe these are written by the same scientest working on the ID and global warming

Enjoy and for you virgins out there get your sex ed elsewhere!

A few things I have learned from reviewing some of the "sex education" textbooks currently being used in American public schools:

"Because they generally become aroused less easily, females are in a good position to help young men learn balance in relationships by keeping intimacy in perspective." (Sex Respect student workbook)

"At the least, the chances of getting pregnant with a condom are 1 out of 6." (Me, My World, My Future, revised edition) [N.B.: average effectiveness rates of condoms, correctly used, are given at between 85 and 98 percent in independent research]

"THERE IS NO WAY TO HAVE PREMARITAL SEX WITHOUT HURTING SOMEONE." (Sex Respect student workbook, caps in the original)

"A woman is stimulated more by touch and romantic words. She is far more attracted by a man's personality while a man is stimulated by sight. A man is usually less discriminating about those to whom he is physically attracted." (WAIT Training workshop manual)

"What if a girl came to school in a crop top, just barely covering her bra, and shorts starting three inches below her naval (sic)? What 'game' would she be playing?" (WAIT Training workshop manual)

"There is no such thing as 'safe' or 'safer' premarital sex." (FACTS, Middle School level teacher's guide)

"The first player spins the cylinder, points the gun to his/her head, and pulls the trigger. He/she has only one in six chances of being killed. But if one continues to perform this act, the chamber with the bullet will ultimately fall into position under the hammer, and the game ends as one of the players dies. Relying on condoms is like playing Russian roulette." (Me, My World, My Future)

Also, it appears that the best way to avoid getting AIDS is to avoid "homosexual behavior," according to Sex Respect and others, and oh, did you know that they could diagnose chlamydia, trichomoniasis, and even crabs with a blood test? And that apparently the Centers for Disease Control are getting reports of over 100,000 new cases of syphilis annually, even though the CDC itself says that it averages only about 6-7000 new syphilis cases per year these days?

Positively ASTONISHING, the things I didn't know.

Your tax dollars at work, ladies and gentlemen.

What's wrong about that one? :)
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

Think I am missing something on this one

"At the least, the chances of getting pregnant with a condom are 1 out of 6." (Me, My World, My Future, revised edition) [N.B.: average effectiveness rates of condoms, correctly used, are given at between 85 and 98 percent in independent research]

The statment basicly says condoms are about 83% effective, that 2% lower then the botom end of teh independent research. So I would say its probably fairly accurate.

I was always told it was up to 98-99% effective...

Fuck that, I'll keep my pants on thanks.

"Because they generally become aroused less easily, females are in a good position to help young men learn balance in relationships by keeping intimacy in perspective." (Sex Respect student workbook)

That one really needs to be rewritten: "Because THEY are the ones to become pregnant(and all that goes along with that), females are in a good position to help young men learn balance in relationships by keeping intimacy in perspective."

"At the least, the chances of getting pregnant with a condom are 1 out of 6." (Me, My World, My Future, revised edition) [N.B.: average effectiveness rates of condoms, correctly used, are given at between 85 and 98 percent in independent research]

The 1 in 6 number may be statistically accurate in a very limited way, it's mostly the guidebook playing fast and loose with the numbers.

"THERE IS NO WAY TO HAVE PREMARITAL SEX WITHOUT HURTING SOMEONE." (Sex Respect student workbook, caps in the original)

According to feminists, there's no way to have heterosex without the woman being hurt, violated and "raped". Even when you're married! :eyecrazy:

"A woman is stimulated more by touch and romantic words. She is far more attracted by a man's personality while a man is stimulated by sight. A man is usually less discriminating about those to whom he is physically attracted." (WAIT Training workshop manual)

The key here is the word "woman". If you are only talking about women and not teenage girls, then I would say the statement is 99.9% accurate. But since it's somewhat safe to say this manual IS aimed at teenage girls, and NOT at women, then this statement is fairly inaccurate. If the boy is cute, he could have the personality of....ummm....Taxx and it wouldn't matter!

"What if a girl came to school in a crop top, just barely covering her bra, and shorts starting three inches below her naval (sic)? What 'game' would she be playing?" (WAIT Training workshop manual)

This one had to have been written by a guy. And I can guess what he was doing while he wrote it!

"There is no such thing as 'safe' or 'safer' premarital sex." (FACTS, Middle School level teacher's guide)

This is true only in the strictest of sense. It's a fine example of the typical "there's black and there's white, but there's nothing inbetween" attitude.

That is a rather harsh analogy, but between the rate of condoms breaking, not being used properly and having the potential for AIDS to pass through them, it's a fair one.

The first part IS true, generally speaking. Seeing as how this person intentionally failed to insert the direct quote(s) mentioning this, it's hard to say much beyond that. As with the rest, it would have been nice to have seen the direct quotes as well. Here he or she had the chance to really show just how backwards these manuals are, but they refused to do so. Makes one wonder if the manuals really did say any of that.

Lesbian sex is much safer (and hotter) than hetro so that statement is wrong.

My point was the government needs to leave the agenda behind and teach biology. Anything beyond insert tab a into slot b and move rapidly, how that results in pregnancy, how to prevent pregnancy, how it transmits disease and ways to prevent disease needs to be left out. This abstinence crap is for the birds. Teach that shit at home. The schools should take no position either encouraging them to do it or discouraging them from it. That is a parents job...
