sucks balls.
They've had closing instructions since Friday of last week. 1.5 hours before my closing, I get the settlement statement. Not from them either, but from the lender.
Fuck Chicago Title.
This isn't the first time.
On a positive note, they provide better services than Title First.

It depends on the office. We own (or technically have a vested interest) in a title company that we use all the time, and we are always having problems. You need to have your escrow officer keep on their asses.

Chicago Title is one of our primary companies that we use, too - they're pretty good around here, but it does depend on who you're working with and what office for sure.
