It's been taken care of. Very shortly after posting I called her and let her know how it's going to be from my end.

I told her I didn't want to be friends anymore out of pure frustration before that. My hands are tied and I fucking hate that.

She still doesn't quite understand that I am NOT going to hang out with this guy and be all buddy-buddy. He's not allowed in my house anymore. Childish, whatever you want to call it...I don't give a fuck. I knew him long before they met, never had a problem with him personally until now. It's too late now but he's going to chew her up and spit her out and I know it.

I apologized for telling her I don't want her to come home etc. Let her know how I feel about it. She understands and wants to "give it a shot" and wants me to also...I said no.

I'm hoping to God I am wrong, but I'm batting a thousand in that respect and it doesn't look likely that I'm going to be wrong here. Drug addicts are no good until they're clean. He's not clean yet.

I spend 20 minutes in the bathroom. That is getting naked, taking a shower and toweling off. If I am feeling up to it, I will blow dry my hair. 10 min. I dont wear make up because my skin doesnt need it.
I have 4 pairs of shoes. 2 tennis shoes and 2 church/dressy shoes.
I dont have a purse.

All of my friends that "didn't listen" to me are dead now or close to it and there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it. I had to tell them I loved them, turn my back and hope they would snap out of it some day. I have too much shit going on in my own life to take on the burdens of someone elses poor decisions.

Before someone starts screaming about generalizing... yes I know there are a few women out there who really don't care about money or looks, and who do wanted to be treated right. But, those women are rare, for one, and two more than likely already married

Their last boyfriend was abusive. You helped them through that and thought for once you've actually accomplished the impossible and got them to realize something for once.

Now they're about to get into the same old shit, this time with a drug addict who stole his own sister's clothes to sell for heroin very recently. They're upset with YOU because you "can't be happy for them". People like that don't change while on other drugs in a matter of a month.

I've already pretty much told her she's on her own and I don't want her to come home. She essentially lived with me before she went to florida. She's coming back sometime this week.

It's like her handcuffing me, telling me to watch her stab herself, and now I'm waiting for her to uncuff me so I can help. I think walking away is my best bet. I needed more opinions from people not personally involved.

I can't fucking stand sitting by and having to watch this shit happen in slow motion to another friend.

It is very true. If you hang out with losers chances are to a degree you will begin to behave just like them. If you hang out with people that are successful or trying to be successful you will probably follow in there footsteps.

In other words... Ditch your crackhead bitch and make some real friends.
