If it's done with surgical tools, the scarring should not distort too badly. Scarring is usually from skin tearing.

I know I could not do that and have it look good. I cut a good fucking chunk out of my arm with a razor once, just as deep as her pictures look, about an inch long, and it healed into a raised scar, might be able to see it in my pictures actually.

You can see it in that picture on my arm, its shrunken down quite a lot. The scar used to go across my entire arm, but now its prob an inch long. When it was cut it was almost the length of my arm not an inch like I said in the last post (I was talking about the scar in the last one when i gave size) so you can see its shrunk considerably.

I have a keloid scar on my stomach from my gallbladder removal surgery. The one next to it is slightly raised as well, though not enough to classify it as a keloid. The one next to that one isnt raised at all, just colored differently from the rest of my skin.

I have 2 small scars under my chin, one from when I took a nose dive down a flight of brick stairs when I was 3, the other from when I did a backwards standing jump into a swimming pool when I was 4, didn't quite jump back far enough, and nailed my chin on the rough edge of the pool on my way down.

Only other scar I have of note is a longish one across one knee, from when I tried to have my destroyed knee fixed. Partially worked, at least. The scar is definitely much shorter now than shortly after the surgery was done, but it's still a good 3 inches long. Arthroscopic surgery would've been nice, but they had to physically remove my kneecap from my knee for part of the work before they put it back, so arthroscopic was impossible.

My first DJ name was Headwound because of well... lots of scars on my head. My forehead has probably had over 50 stitches in it from my more careless days.

moisturizer is the best thing for your skin and especially for scars. I use so much lotion/moisturizer that I could probably put my hand on my face and imprint my hand.

We have one of the larger Taipusum's (sp?) here. I'm not sure when it is, but next time it comes around I'll take some pictures for you guys. Now that is some disgusting shit.

They go into trances where they invite demons into their bodies. They then stick hundreds of hooks and spears through their bodies.

I know a guy that used to do it. He also used to prophesy by inviting a demon into himself. Now he's a born again Christain. His testimony is astonishing.

Stuff like that is actually pretty fascinating. I especially like the a lot of the tribal culture's pain rituals, they are amazing and some are down right beautiful.

I dunno about you guys but my scars all turn white with age....

my major scar was the one with my ruptured Appendix. Was 7 days out from land with it blew. I have a 12 inch cut from where they removed parts of me that I did not know I had.
