Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

The Wild Animal Park is a good 25-30 minutes north of the city of San Diego. It's on the outskirts of Escondido.

this afternoon Schnitt was reading off some of the celebrities that have evacuated. there were a lot, but one he mentioned was Nick Nolte..he made fun of the guy saying he asked "what fires?" haha!

i wasn't evacuated but my grandma and brother were. the worst fire is the witch fire that is threatening escondido/san pasqual valley/wild animal park (where i used to live) but there is also like 7 more fires here in SD county. shit is pretty bad. i'm in no danger tho.

the sky has been dark all day and most shops are shut down here. all the schools are shut down too. everyone is pretty freaked out.

I'm safe. I got evacuated from my place in Rancho Bernardo around 6am Monday morning and made it to family in Spring Valley. Then we got evacuated again so I drove out on the I 8 east to Phoenix area to stay with friends/family for a couple days. I can't remember who else lives out here that posts but I know the fires are not just San Diego, but further north as well. The Wild Animal Park is safe, they shipped out all the endangered animals and the others are protected. This is really scary. I live in Rancho Bernardo and work in Poway and both got hit very hard by this.
