You fags always post your recipes, so let me post one that will make most anyone drool.
You need a slab of roast meat, I prefer a bone rib roast, better the meat, better the results. Sear the meat in a frying pan, it can be frozen, or thawed, does not matter. Sear all the edges for about 1 minute. Then take your slab of meat and put it in a crock pot. The only thing you will add is a pinch of salt, onion salt and pepper, 1/2 cup of water and 1 can of beef stock / boullion / broth (whatever you call it in your neck of the woods). Let it slow cook for 24 hours and remove the meat.
Next step, shread the meat, if you do not know how, it is simple. It should almost fall apart from cooking that long, so jab it with a fork and use another fork, grinding at it until you have shredded beef. Use a mixing container and mix about 1/3 cup of flour and a half cup of milk. Add it to the crock pot with the beef broth. Stir it until it is completely mixed together. Add your beef, 2 cut up carrots, 2 cut up stalks of celery and 1/4 or smaller diced onion. Cook on low again for another 12 hours. Continue stirring once every couple of hours.
Make yourself mashed potatoes or buy them from KFC or whatever you want for mashed potatoes. Add a giant scoop of them into a bowl and scoop over the stew like grazy. Eat, get fat and enjoy. I learned to make this in Ireland and it is the stone cold nuts.
