I work too damned hard to throw my money away gambling. The most I ever "gamble" is like once or twice a year when I'll buy a CA Lottery ticket when it gets up to like 80 million.

Poker isn't completely gambling. You can control most aspects of poker.

I'm actually with Mindia on this one.

The only other exception is if I'm going to Vegas or Reno or something on a vacation, I'll set aside a certain amount of money as "entertainment expenses" and use it to play blackjack, etc. If I lose it all, well, it was a budgeted expense anyway. If I come out ahead, great, but it's not the goal.
