There's a similar one with a guy with everything written on his hands that's pretty impressive...

not as impressive as scantily clad females though.

QFT. I kept rewinding to the beginning to drool at their cute little butts. Cool dance too.

99% of it is crap ;)

The problem is, most of those live performances are recorded on people's cell phone cameras, so they frequently look like vaguely differentiated blobs of lighter and darker semi-humanoid shapes, and the band sounds like you were listening to them from the bottom of a well with cotton stuffed in your ears.

Sure, there are exceptions, and those're often very nice, but gah, some are just awful.

hell yeah Tik, I use the hell out of youtube for music stuff. Works great usually if you want to hear a specific song, you can most of the time just click and find it fairly easily

My comments about most live tracks notwithstanding, I also like to use Youtube to find and listen to music from artists I like. Some of the home-produced videos set to tracks for which no "real" video exists are really well done too.

For example, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln0aVbWzV6s is just about a perfect video to go with that Combichrist song. (Not work safe, as the word "Fuck" is said loudly several times). As for musical genre, so you can choose to click or not, it's aggressive, angry modern industrial. *I* really like the song and track, others may not.

Funny enough, that was the only reason I agreed to watch the video at first too haha.
That is some wicked shit right there btw. I have never heard gypsy death circus jazz metal.

What "fascination?" People like their music, myself included. I don't see how it's any different than liking any other musician/band.

Also, have you not seen what kind of show they put on live? They rock.

Hmmm... yeah, lots of "techno" artists do live shows. Many techno producers create many of their tracks "live" as well.
