well now's your chance!

it's only $12

that's less than $1 per episode, or exactly $1 per ounce of mouse

I never cared much for 12 oz. Mouse. I think Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Sealab 2021 are/were a lot funnier and vastly more entertaining.

I never got into ATHF.. I mean I guess it's mildly funny in small doses, but I get sick of it really fast. It's kind of like Futurama for me - people rave about it, but I just never found the funny. I love me some robot chicken though.

people ask me what 12oz mouse is about sometimes. my quick answer is "imagine if david lynch got his 5 year old son drunk and gave him some markers and crayons and told him to make an animated cartoon"

the first few episodes don't seem to be about anything at all, or more specifically, they seem to be nothing but absurdist humor-- which you may not find funny in the least, depending on your personality. but if you keep watching the shows (sometimes it helps if you watch an episode two or three times), you get a feel for the characters and you get an uneasy feeling that despite the crudely drawn world where an alcoholic green mouse, a peanut-shaped policeman, an eyeless square, and a shark do seemingly nonsensical and unrelated things, there is something more sinister going on. towards the middle of the series (there are 20 official episodes than run 11 minutes each) these uneasy feelings become more tangible, and despite the many red herrings thrown at the viewer, the fragmented and disjointed and chronologically jumbled vignettes begin to add up to something really disturbing involving kidnapping, murder, xenomorphentation (their word, not mine), mind control, and vicious power plays between the major characters. and like any david lynch film, you never TRULY know what's ACTUALLY going on, but you know it isn't healthy and you know it isn't going to get any better-- and by the end, you're captivated.

seriously, it's only twelve bucks.
