Miracle wax

Postby Trielelvan » Mon Aug 08, 2005 12:34 pm

So I go outside and I notice that the paint on my van is becoming BADLY oxidized, like from burgundy to chalky white, and it sucks.
Damn this infernal heat...

Can someone recommend a really good wax/polymer/whatever to remove the oxidation and restore the finish to something of its former glory?

I had stuff off an infomercial once years and years ago that I used on my '72 VW superbeetle. It worked BEAUTIFULLY, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

Anyone have some recommendations?

You might find something here:

http://www.meguiars.com/

If not, then use Meguire's after you take care of your oxidation problem.
