For once I'll jump the NT horndog bandwagon and say the best valentines day gift for a guy is sex sex sex. XD

I think for a lot of men their Valentines day experience is generally one of anxiety and dread - as it seems to have shifted primarily to a day where men are expected to be the primary ones to show appreciation, and there is a rather constant fear of fucking it up and ruining it. Even if you don't expect that (doesn't seem like you do :D), there is a good chance they've experienced it - or at least experienced it second hand enough for the impression to be left on them to at least some degree.

Seriously, the steak and a blowjob thing will just floor most men if they're going into it with traditional expectations. It will just blow their mind.

Steaks rather cheap if you buy it yourself (maybe 7-10 bucks if you go with 2 really hearty size portions of like.. sirloin. more expensive depending on the cut)
