My new place is 3 blocks from work. Should I ride my bike or buy a scooter? I'd look SEXY on a vespa.

You'd look like one of those English "no direction" queers that ride around on Vespas wearing Army jackets with "The Who" stitched on the back along with the "no direction" arrows.

$2.79 a gallon. I drive 85 miles one way to work. So 170 a day. I bought a Geo Metro and that's like 4-4.5 gallons a day. Thinking about trading my truck in on a Jetta TDi diesel.

You should get moonboots and bounce your way to work every day.

Or be like the weird German dude who works at Nestle's and ride a unicycle to work.

What if I rode an unicycle on top of a skateboard while juggling bowling pins?

An interesting point a columnist made about the gas prices was this.. between 1999 and 2006 the estimated gas cost was 1.00 per gallon to 2.60 per gallon. that is a 160 percent increase.

When you factor in the cost per gallon in crude oil (i.e. how much crude it takes to make a gallon of gas) it was .35 to 1.59 whcih amounts to a 450 percent increase, give or take a few precentages. With those factores had they charged the same profit today that they did 7 years ago we would be paying over 5.60 per gallon.

I realize this does not bring comfort when your pumping gas into your SUV but still it could be worse.

Your obsession with queers indicates that you would know more about queers than anybody else here. :boots:

$3.18 for premium. It will go up to $4 during this summer and maybe higher if we sanction or attack Iran.
