Too skinny is no good and too fat is not good either but I don't mind a thicker girl if the curves are all in the right places.

Because of my broader shoulders and larger boobs, 100 is sick looking. I'm 5'3. I know my perfect weight, the weight I look best and healthy in. I'm not at it at all, but I know what it looks like. Its where I cant see my ribs and my collar bone doesnt cut people.

I'm sick of society passing off what looks like emaciated 9 year olds as beautiful "women".

Whatever happened to women looking like women? Give me a big woman any day. When I say big, I mean the girl has adult mass, not obese (sorry-nothing over 250 pounds for me but hey different strokes for everyone). I wouldn't want one of these bitches that can pass for a 12 year old. (No tits, no ass, no real adult mass to show for.)

Wow, 5'6 at 115? I think I know 1 person that thin, and she used to get made fun of for looking sickly; she also had eating disorders out the wazoo and did heroine. A doctor's chart even expects a 5'6 person to weigh in about 135-145.

I'd never want to weigh that little.. I want to weigh less than I do sure, but that weight is never something I would aspire to.. that's a weight that was frequent on that HBO special "Thin" which was about anorexics..maybe you have a distorted view of what 115 looks like on a person with an average frame ><

I think ive been over this before, but I just like tits. big tits, little tits, round tits, saggy tits, perky tits, pancake nipples, skeeter' bump nipples, ALL different kinds of tits. When women stop acting like they are some sort of gift that any men shouldnt be allowed to see and they all walk around topless when its warm out like men do, the world will be a better place!

i don't think women are protecting the sanctity of their boobs or anything by not walking around topless in the heat--it's just not socially accepted. change the rules of society to afford women the same topless rights as men, and i guarantee you there would be an assload of women out there with no shirts on when it's 100+ outside.

as for the original topic . . . i don't have much to say. i've been there, it's not fun, and i consider myself lucky to have had any sort of love life at my heaviest weight. big girls need love too hehe

and p.s. thank you to the guys who can appreciate a girl with some meat on her bones. i'm 5'8 and will never, ever weigh 120-130, both because i don't think i'm capable of doing so and because i wouldn't want to b/c i'd rather be curvy. it's nice to hear that some people still find a womanly body attractive. which isn't to say that i wouldn't like to lose some pounds, but most women do, so whatever.

It's legal for women to walk around topless in Ottawa and you rarely see it, even on the hottest day.

Just as the rule is broken about morbidly obese people wearing spandex, the morbidly obese will waddle about without tops on.

I saw that at the Columbus Community Festival and until the laws change regarding nudity in public, I refuse to ever go again.

I think mostly what Narrock is getting at is the women who go through the McDonalds line in front of him, ordering 4 cheeseburgers, a number 3, 2, 1 and 6, with a small diet coke. Oh and extra cheese on each of those burgers...

I'm glad i've never worked fast food or retail, because the first thing i'd have a hard time not blurting out is "Bitch you don't need Taco Bell" or "Who are you trying to kid wearing something 15 years after your generation?"

Then again, I may be an asshole.

Heavy-set women are likely to face worse socioeconomic outcomes than slimmer colleagues, which is an obvious trend.

I too, am only physically attracted to slender women. Petite, (not short, i'm 6'5, having someone under 5'5 become problemsome) and well proportioned. I don't like big asses, or big boobs. "Tight" or "Fit" Is what I would use to describe the women i'm attracted to. No offense to larger women, lots of them can be interesting / polite etc, just not intimately with me.

Edit: Or there is always that one overweight women at the beach with a skirt on, just making it an uncomfortable experience. There is a fine line truly dimmed at times by the women who can make it appear that they have no bathing suit on at all. It's one thing to believe you're pretty no matter what, feel good about yourself etc. But talk about heart issues =/

to each his own, i guess. there's no real "perfect" body type--the only thing that should matter is healthiness. but even so, you can't help who you're attracted to.

i like tall, slim guys, for example, while the pix that were posted in the wanking thread in EE would suggest that a lot of the gals here really like big meaty types. *shrug* everyone's got their somethin'.

I am obsessed with ryan adams, I'm not ashamed to say it. He's shorter than me.

I like tall slim guys too, not crackhead skinny though. Healthy is good.

Gonna slightly derail this.

What if you were with a girl for a while and she got fat on you? Leave her? Stay unconditionally? Grace period for pregnancy of course.

Would depend on why you were with her to begin with, yes?

Bingo! But i guess, realistically, if you're in a relationship and someones weight / health goes to complete shit. For whatever reason if things started to go south on her appearance, I would talk to her about it. But it a non-rhetorically ugly sort of way. "Have you been eating healthy, you look tired," etc. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news or dwell on someones appearance once i've delved a little deaper into the relationship, but by no means can I respect someone who can't respect herself.

To me, a women wanting to look good for me is a compliment and should be appreciated. It would be the same thing as the stereotypical marriages go. Once you get married (so i've heard), you learn a lot more about the women than you ever wished. Those are often the marriages that end in divorces. Marriages that are nothing more than a small bondage and some extra tax dollars are the ones that stay together much longer (In my observation).

It seems that as soon as a women is married, they are no longer (obviously) worried about us wondering off to seek other attention from women, because now we're "knots tied." In a relationship you can take breaks, get rid of her, whatever. In a marriage, it costs money and time, both of which women know we don't want to deal with. Therefor, they let out a side of them they never let go originally, whether it be bad eating habits, habitual moaning and groaning about house chores or daily duties, even the occupation someone might have or a family pet.

Anyway, zoning back in on topic, Lots of weight gained in a relationship, poor eating habits and lack of communication; depending on the circumstances obviously, but my generalized thought on that would be "We aren't working out."

Then again, Martrae was right, everyones intentions are different, and i'm sure as fuck not going to get married.

I am not saying my wife isn't beautiful, because she is, but I did not marry her because of her looks. I married her because there was a connection. We fell in love. We're still in love. Weight would never ever change that.

I keep forgetting how young/immature most of the readers are on this board...once most of you folks grow up, you'll understand that there is way more important shit than how much a person weighs...keerist

If I married a girl and she let her health go to hell, and I tried to help her and she didn't even want to put effort into getting herself back on track, I definitely could see that being the start of a chain of events that could lead to divorce. Health going to hell could be caused by a bunch of things, and it includes both physical and mental health.
