Lookin for a new job..
Kinda piggybacking on Ero's topic here, but basically I lost my job recently and since then have grown accustomed to not being in the 8-5 grind.. so I'm looking for ideas. I'm not looking for a get rich quick pyramid scheme, but I'm interested in working from home, if possible, especially while I'm trying to get a more permanent position (if it ever comes, I have so many maybes and nothing set in stone; it's very frustrating.)
I guess feasibly, I can only think of transcription work, but I don't even know where to begin looking for this stuff. I think there's other at home type jobs, but I can't think of any; in the meantime we have 2 mortgages and I'm stressed the fuck out.
I know a few of you have your own home based businesses, and while I'm not looking for that for myself, I am looking to assist someone LIKE that who just has too much work on their hands; issue being I don't know how to find people like that, or if people like that even exist.
Haven't had much sleep in the last week or so, so if any of this is incoherent babbling forgive me; it's just nice to get an outsiders perspective. Assholes who come to post for the sake of being an asshole foad though please.
/blog off.

"I think you may be confusing government running amok with government doing stuff you don't like. See, you're in the minority now. It's supposed to taste like a shit taco." - Jon Stewart

My SIL did the transcription thing. Most doctors already have a transcriptionist and the ones that don't are the assholes that can't keep one.
Are you looking for a home party job? If so, I can hook you up with Usborne books, LS can hook ya up with Mary Kay or Garg can tell ya about Avon.
There's also everything from Tupperware to candles out there.

Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

Partylite people sell the best candles out there, I swear. I have tons and only reason I haven't bought more is because I don't know anyone who sells anymore. Tupperware I bought some pieces a while back and they are awesome and last forever. Again, I would buy more of those too if I knew anyone that sold. I also have a cousin who works for a company I think called Stamp It Up
(stamping parties, orders etc.) who has been one of their top sellers and gone on a bunch of cruises and absolutely loves it-don't know if that's your thing but she's made a great living off of it and if you do like that stuff I'm sure I could get you a number to talk to her.

How old are you? Did you go to college? If not, why don't you do that?

well
she's posting that she wants a job cause(and I'm reading into this) that the 2 mortgages were causing much stress
just seems like paying more money for education isn't the best solution?
(ps yes, I assumed it meant you didn't read thoroughly )
The people in my factory make about 8 bucks an hour but the best part about their job is my company pays for their tuision if they maintain a B+ average. So if she is in the market for a job, maybe she should keep her eyes open for an admin position that offers that kind of benefit.
It's just a suggestion though.
A lot of at-home jobs rely heavily on telephone sales. What are your strengths? Maybe you could work as a recruiter or something?
I work for a company that recruits physicians, and the only thing that prevents the employees from working at home is our boss. People who have left and started their own company recruit physicians from home quite successfully. Again, though, lots of telephone sales... so if that's not your thing, then it won't work out for you.

Make biodiesel by driving to McDonalds and asking them for their grease vats and mix them with the lime and the other thing (I forgot what it was) and fill up your local tracters at like 40 a pop. With the legal amount you're allowed to have on one property at a time being what it's at, you could probably make about 60-80 dollars a day.

Not around here either.
How do you like this spoiler, motherfucker? -Lyion
