Some of the personalized plates out there are pretty cheesy, but that "In God We Trust" one is pretty cool.

New option for Indiana this year.

In Indiana, a new license plate featuring the American flag and the words "In God We Trust" will be available at no extra charge. Rep. Woody Burton, the sponsor, predicted they will "sell like crazy."

They have options similar to that here also, you just pay a little extra to get that kind of plate.

For example... Image

Actually, this doesn't bother me much, as long as that version remains a special-order personalized plate, and doesn't appear on any government-owned vehicles. As special-order items, they count as personal display, and as I said before, if private citizens want to scream their religious preferences to the world, they have every right to. I reserve the right to laugh at them for spiritual-peen waving, however.

Now, if these were the standard license plate, or if the government orders them, that'd be entirely different cases, and then I'd have an issue with it. But a special order item? Bah, no different than one of those chrome metal fishes.

I don't see any problem with those liscense plates as long as they are OPTIONAL, and you aren't forced to use one.
