yahoo mail beta

Postby araby » Wed Mar 21, 2007 2:01 am

so I like this new email. scott told me about it originally and I finally switched. if you click the subject button it gives you a random subject. the one attached to my most recent email said "all your platypus are belong to us" and I got tickled.

anyone else like the new yahoo mail?

Yahoo became a bad word once they came up with that ridiculous tool bar and all that other shit that gets installed with the messenger. Glorified spyware.

Yahoo is ok except for the 1 out of every 4 times it doesn't show whats actually in your email.

Gmail is still 10x better than any of the free ones (MSN, Yahoo).

This of course doesn't consider Thunderbird which blows pretty much everything away.

I've been super happy with gmail since it came out. Free POP, free archiving, and super fast.

I used Yahoo before, but their offerings just aren't nearly as good as gmail.

I belong to several yahoo groups. There are so many screw-ups and downtimes with those I won't even consider yahoo email.

I find the new Yahoo! mail to be too clunky. It's better than hotmail for sure, but it's not nearly as sleek and efficient as gmail. Gmail ftw

Gmail is the own. I still use hotmail for a lot of things, just cause I had it for ages before gmail, and that's where people know me at, but I do more and more on my Gmail account. Better interface, less flashy ads, much better spam filters, etc.
