I say go for the Greek food. Summer salad + moussaka + baklava = yum.

I voted Greek but Sashimi was a close second with me.

Just curious what the distinction is between authentic and Americanized Mexican food?

One place is Chipotle.
The other is El Vaqueros.

Chipotle offers giant bland burritos.
El Vaqueros offers something a little off the beaten path. I usually get a dish called El morro special. It is chicken, chorizo, & pineapple on a tortilla with lettuce & dirty rice, little bit of sour cream. The flavors are incredible... the downside is that I would have to drive for 15 minutes to reach the place.

Interesting.

I love Mexican food but I'm not sure how authentic some of the places are around here.

Have you been to Pancho Villa's? That's the best Mexican food I've had in town.

I ended up getting Greek as per popular vote.

I'll probably get some sashimi for lunch tomorrow.

Greek food owns. I am not a huge fan of authentic mexican. Some is great, other stuff is really not fit for eating. Yuck. Cow brains? Stuffed intestines? Fuck that.

Every culture has a few meals that are "eww gross". Stuffed intestines aren't exactly just mexican food, ever heard of hog maw? It's quite popular around here, pennsylvania dutch food.

There's something about eating "authentic" food from countries that are dirt poor... they eat a lot of stuff I would not.
