I actually was pleasantly surprised with it. I agreed with all of Obamas points regarding outsourcing/offshoring and if he actually backs it up and holds Congresses feet to the fire, I'd vote for him in November. Unfortunately, I don't think he'll do anymore to protect U.S. jobs then they will, and I'm disappointed with the Keystone Pipeline decision.

The military portion was very well done and well received.

I only got to see the highlights. Lots of great talking but it's the same shit politicians have been saying for years.

recently read something similar on twitter: "the Rs and the Ds are just two different PR firms working for the same company"

i caught part of it on closed-caption TV last night but have not yet had time to really sit down and watch the entire thing

will reserve final judgement until then

but in the meantime i have heard a lot of negative attention on the internets re: obama taking a pro-fracking stance
