Well, OK, it's not QUITE flying, but it's the closest thing we have.

I would LOVE to do this kind of thing, it looks unbelievably amazing. (I'd suggest watching them in full screen, seriously)





That look seriously amazing to anyone else, or just me?

I actually looked into what it takes to be able to do that, and it's pretty crazy: You need at least 200 solo freefall jumps in the last 18 months or 500 total solo jumps just to even START wingsuit training, and that's done jumping from a plane. Then it's 10-15 jumps to get certified to solo wingsuit jump from a plane. Then you need to get 50+ solo wing suit jumps, PLUS 50+ jumps of BASE jumping experience too. Only then can you start to do this kind of terrain flying. So yeah, years and a shit-ton of money. But damn if it might not be worth it...
