That was a very closeminded statement.
Hi, I'm going to knock an entire cultures religion, because I'm a firm believer that if you aren't Christian or Catholic, that you're going to burn in hell!

I'd like to know what exactly this salvation is. Cause if it entails never having to read anything to write ever again, well consider me one of those Jesus loving guys.
Muslims suck, I hate gays, W04 and so forth.

However people debate as to whether Buddhism is really a religion at all or just a philosphy about life. Being as I am an agnostic now, I would say Buddhism though I am not sure you would count that since I have studied it in the past.

But since you are familiar with google, might I suggest you look up the word Nirvana.
Zanchief wrote:Mindia, I don't think you truly know how long everlasting is.
Everlasting life is a great concept, like Communism.

That's arguing semantics. "Salvation" in the Christian sense means "Everlasting Life" or "Life Eternal." "Enlightenment" in Buddhism does not mean "Life Everlasting" in the Christian sense of "Salvation." That is what I clearly and obviously meant.

It offers no salvation! I wasn't picking on it, trolling, or being a smartass. Buddhism's basic premises (in so many words) are to be a good person, treat others as you would like to be treated, etc. etc. etc. but it offers NO SALVATION of eternal life such as in Christianity.
