People don't understand how debt works. They think they have to "work" it all off, it works itself off whether you are xping or not. People should read the damn manual that came with the game, it explains alot. There are still alot of retards who don't know how to group yet and that's fine, you learn from them quickly that they aren't the people to group with lol.

Everyone is still in that learning curve.

You'll find the ones that do have their heads out of their asses weren't in uber zerg guilds, but ones where skill counted.

I'm hoping most of the idiots will leave for a game that doesn't require as much intelligence to play (like WoW) soon.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

You don't need to see anyone play anything, you'll never see the game again.

For Me... I hated GoD, I was tired of certain things, And most of all, my kids needed me more than EQ, and I didnt have time to raid with legacy anymore. And really in eq there wasnt anywhere i would go after Legacy. after 5 years it was definately time for a game that was new and fresh.

Now i can play wow, and still spend lots of time with my kids.

Oh i gave both my accounts to officer in Legacy of Steel to use as needed or wanted.

Lol....I tried quitting after Vellius came out....Got rid of Allanh and Lurdasam, but after I saw Cronto playing his necro, I had to make another account. Being an addict at whatever I do...whether it be work, sex or just being an idiot, I do it to the fullest...I played this game out. Got tired of playing a monk, so I made a beastlord, being a beastlord got old, so I made a rogue, being a rogue got old (lack of groups), so I made a wizard, sk, necro, bard...etc.......Have played many aspects of the game and after a while, none were too appealing.

ps, fucking sony billed me again.....Even after I pushed end subscription.....

like most said it was when it stopped being fun to be online and was more of a hassle then fun experience . I made way more then most would ever think possible on a video game and like taxx i too still own my account although i gave it to a bunch of people to use who moved it to Vazaelle where it just sits now rotting away but whatever. On a separate note trading 66 enchanter on vazaelle with like 500 AA's for 2 - 3 month wow cards np~

When you realize how much time was wasted just sitting there looking at a monitor, waiting, doing nothing, when you could be doing so many other things, it's easy to quit.

I knew my time was up when I woke up one partly sunny afternoon and realized I had fallen 3 expansions and god only knows how many flag/keys behind my guild. That and some nagging virus prevented my computer from doing anything but spit CD's at me.

I just gave my toons to my guild to do whatever they wanted with. FoF has a great retirement home down in the Florida keys, ya know!

I quit, officially, last March or so. That was going on a year after I had mostly hit the final burnout stage, but was still playing cause of Legacy of Steel and killing Big Stuff. Almost left over the summer, ended up playing a lot with a friend and that kept me around til December or so. Come December, I moved, and it literally took about 8 weeks to get broadband in, and with just 1 phone line in the place, I couldn't be tying it up to play EQ all the time. During that forced time off, I lost the habit of logging in nightly and playing every day. Finally got DSL in, and by then GoD was released. I made it to like 3 GoD raids, and hated them with an absolute passion. Finally couldn't deal with it any more, completely went postal in the monk/raid-pull channel, tore someone a new asshole, gated and logged. Next day I logged in, gave away my only good droppable, Holgresh beads, said goodbye to people, then hit the cancel button.

At this point, I think I'd rather have my nuts chewed off by rabid lemmings than play EQ1 again. Pretty much almost all of the people I was actually good friends with in EQ and in LOS no longer play, I hated XP grouping anyway, and the raids sucked... Given how long I played, officially quitting was easier than I ever thought it would be. I considered selling the character, but by the time I decided to check on it, I was far enough behind the gear curve, and played a class no one wanted, so I would've gotten shit for him. I didn't delete, I didn't park him anywhere odd (I think he's in PoTranquil, at the PoTime entrance), but I doubt very very much that the Arlos character will ever show up in EQ again.

WOW, on the other hand...
