I'm actually not sure what you're referring to Taxx

If it's the trap/FD trick it's already been changed, if it's something else, PM me

Oh, and I guess it also bears noting that cutting a single frontrunner out of a pack, feigning, and having someone else tag before the returning single gets too close to its mates, doesn't always work either.
Some mobs groups seem to have linked agro (that or just crazy assist radii, like the d0rfs in Uldaman), so if you tag one, you get all no matter what.
I don't need no instructions to know how to ROCK!

There's a LOT of places in the game that have "linked" pulls. Uldaman dwarves + golem is a perfect example. Just consider the group as 1 mob pretty much.

And to be completely honest, I don't know exactly how the hunters do the exploit, all I know is that I have seen it done (about a week ago)

no, it's a bug that breaks mob links

i'm gonna log on in a bit and test it

ok it's pretty easy

when you pull a linked group (preferably using multi-shot or auto-shot, not arcane), use whatever (frost, freezing, concussion) to stagger one mob away from the rest, once there's an amount of space between it and the rest of the group running towards you, fd

the one that was staggered will reset first, pop up as the rest are running away and tag it real quick

if there's enough distance between that mob and the group when it resets, boom, single pull

i imagine this would be a pain when doing w/ pure caster mobs

I can see where that would be an exploit with hard linked mobs, but if it's just a tightly packed bunch, I don't see it as an issue

YOu cacn also do a couple of interesting things with a passive pet, snare trap and a partner, but imo it's pure technique, and not any kind of exploit (because it's not something that just anyone can do. I've tried to show other people and they just don't get the hang of it)

I have a single pulling technique that hasn't failed me yet. (unless the mobs are supposed to all aggro at once no matter what)
How do you like this spoiler, motherfucker? -Lyion
