Markup vendor selling as was stated earlier. (there is no reason as to why those weapons aren't soulbond when bought)

Quests that require RIFUCKINGDICULOUS amounts of travel, for minimal return value of spent time.

They need to seriously fix zone architecture/geometry. I am a master at getting to places I probably shouldn't be able to but, am only "allowed to" through poor zone construction.

Example, in that section of ashenvale with the dragon guarding the portal... I walked up to the dragon and said hello (I got hit for 3348 crit, but it was fun)

COMPLETELY bypassing the 62 Elite guards guarding the entire area. All by using the walls and strafe jumping around until I could just go right by everything.

Granted I've been doing this since early EQ, it's still an issue if you ask me.

If you hate the game so much - quit playing.

Otherwise, your bitching and moaning are getting really really tiresome.

A few weeks ago there was an issue on icecrown where every single npc was gone. Poofed. Server didn't crash just yet, just every NPC, fiend, everything but the players were gone. So, being the nice little exploiter that i am. I went exploring....

Server was going to go down in 20 minutes.

I started in UC, went to Tirisfal, to Plaugelands, threw the big bad elites (none there, nor chests either :( ) I basically did a circle until i got 390 explored exp for all the places and had them all maped out. I ended up going in Stratholme to see if instances were still popped...Well i was like 42 at the time and as soon as i enter like 6 of them rush at me and hit me for like 590-600.

But i got like 4 or so bubs of discovery exp.

Example 24124 of how bad they have had to try to fix their lag issues.

Secondly, they've had the EXACT same problems since alpha, 1 year ago. and they can't seem to fix it. If you didn't notice when you reinstalled the game. You downloaded the beta patch, on the day the game came out, you downloaded the beta patch after installing the game. Not a new patch with fixed features, the beta patch. /sigh

Finawin - *every* post you make is whining or bitching about something. It has nothing to do with this one particular thread. It also has nothing to do with how "engrossed" I am in the game. It has everything to do with your apparent disatisfaction.

Move on to a new game if you hate this one so much.

Half your posts are responding to his supposed whining here.

So, you are whining about whining? Mr Pot, meet Mr Kettle.

I'm encouraging him in a forceful manner to stop playing the game if he hates it so much.

Your point and contribution to that discussion was... what?

About the same as yours. Jack and Shit.

Lets review your posts in this thread and the relevance of them to anything save your post count, shall we?

OK.

Stunning point and mastery of verbage that would leave Joan Wilder quaking in her boots.

Gee, like this is original.

Redux

The Captain Obvious posts are a tad tired and old.

Try actually contributing something to this board if you are going to attempt to be condescending or arrogant. I realize your point here is to attempt to mock flame and self entertain, but at least try to be an iota interesting or original.

So you're whining about my whining about Finawin's whining?

Yes - you're much better. You're in no place to be pontificating, boy.

Try spending a day not posting rants that could be auto generated by a perl script, chief.

Best movie ever in my early years. I probably saw that movie almost 1000 times before I was even in high school.

Log on the person who has the key, invite, summon, run in, open, log your character back in...

It really isn't much of a timesink.. if you think that is bad, you wont want to be in upper..

And I rarely play anymore at all, fyi...

Yeah and I call bullshit, and we've done upper and I know exactly how much of a pain it is...that is my point, even getting there isn't fun, it has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with "lets cross our fingers and hope it drops this time".

Broken code is a fact of life. It's happened in every other MMOG I've played, and I'm not going to light Blizzard up for that. Similarly, almost every MMOG had an ugly release. What's more important to me, is the developers' willingness to rectify the problems. So far, Blizzard has done a better job with that, particularly in response to balance issues (believe me, things like removing invis from mages were necessary). I have yet to be blatantly lied to or ignored, though their answer isn't always what I would have preferred.

It's still much to early to judge Blizzard in comparison to SOE: remember that Sony didn't completely divest themselves of any pathetic scrap of integrity for several years post-release. Of course, they were high-handed, egocentric bastards to start out, but a certain arrogance is essential in developing and maintaining a public product like this. Blizzard's greatest strenght has been a demonstrated willingness to actually investigate game issues, and generally produce extremely thorough solution. The downside, of course, is that they often take longer than expected to produce a fix. I'd still much rather deal with this than "Alchemy is working as intended!" or "We're looking into melee balance". Blizzard's track record inspires faith that they'll work to make their game better. Sony's history indicates that they'll run a game into the ground with one hand while pawing for your wallet with the other.
